The podiatrist

My name is Thaïs and I am a generalist podiatrist. From a young age, I have been fascinated by everything related to feet. However, a foot never stands alone; it is a complex part of the body and influences the rest of the musculoskeletal system. Every joint plays a role and can influence one another.

I like to compare the body to a house of cards: when everything is perfectly balanced, it forms a solid whole. But if one card is out of place, it affects the entire structure or a part of it.

Before founding Tarsus, I gained ten years of experience as a specialized foot care provider (also known as a medical pedicurist). In this field, I increasingly encountered limitations. I wanted to treat not only symptoms but also uncover the underlying cause of foot problems. Therefore, I delved deeper into anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. In doing so, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Podiatry.

About me

Why Tarsus?

The name 'Tarsus' has been carefully chosen. In Latin, it means 'foot root', the foundation of the foot.

Connections run from the foot root to both the toes and the lower leg. The foot root has a major influence on the rest of the body, and my mission is to find the core or root of your complaints and address them. So that you can move freely and painlessly again.
